At The Tennis Hive, we love celebrating our players’ progress—and nothing brings our community together quite like our Grand Slam Events.
Across the year, we run four signature tournaments inspired by the world’s biggest tennis stages:
Each Slam is open to all students enrolled in group or private lessons for that term, from our youngest Red Ball beginners to our most advanced Performance players.
What Are The Tennis Hive Slam Events?
Our Slam Events are designed to give every child a chance to show off what they’ve learned in a fun, supportive, and inclusive environment.
Each Slam event includes modified formats for different ball colours (Red, Orange, Green & Yellow Ball), ensuring players enjoy matches suited to their age and level.
For beginner and younger players:
A gentle introduction to match play. Players learn how to rally, score, and compete in a relaxed, positive setting.
For older and more experienced players:
A chance to put their skills into action with real match play—building confidence, match awareness, and competitive grit.
Yellow Ball Doubles Feature
For select Slams—including the US Open—we offer a special Yellow Ball Doubles Event.
Players can choose their own partner, register individually through the portal, and then submit their doubles team form at the Pro Shop.

Our Slam series gives students a milestone each term to work towards—building confidence, resilience, sportsmanship, teamwork, and a genuine love for the game. It’s one of the highlights of our coaching calendar and a brilliant way to finish each term on a high.
